elcome to the National Maritime Heritage Foundation (NMHF),
the official maritime heritage organization of the District of Columbia. NMHF is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to enhancing lives and inspiring young minds through maritime adventures.

NMHF accomplishes this mission by providing comprehensive community sailing and maritime education programs. These active programs, located in Southwest Washington D.C. and in the schools and classrooms of the national capital region, are re-connecting people of the Washington metropolitan region to the water and to the maritime history of the region.
